A few weekends ago we stayed the night at Cousin Jackson's house. We played with the goaties - they are getting big!, ate pizza, and hung out. It was fun. The next morning after some big ol' waffles we all headed up to Chrystal Mountain. Dylan was all smiles putting on her skis. We headed to the kiddie area while Uncle Ben, Auntie Liz, and Jackson all headed up the mountain - Dylan was a little upset that she couldn't go - oh she so wanted to ride up the big chair lift.
And then her moment came. After a little hot chocolate and refueling Dylan and Uncle Ben headed up on the big chair lift! Oh we were back to big big big smiles!
After a few runs down the mountain, yes Dylan kept wanting to go back up, Matt and I took her up in the Gondola, which we were back to big smiles.
Super fun day. Video's to come soon. I have a feeling though that we have a speed racer on our hands - she will be out skiing us both after a few more lessons!

Thank You's
First Dance Class
Today we tried out a new really fun dance class and Dylan loved it! Now that we are over naps there is a whole other part of the day we are trying to fill.
Half way through the class D came running up to me and said "Hey Mom, all the other girls are wearing skirts.". Luckily Dylan had packed a bag of ballet clothes which we left in the car, so I ran out quickly and grabbed a skirt - so she could be just like everyone else! Close one!
Okay so I think Dylan might have a little "McBride" uncoordination in her bones - sorry girl! But she was able to pull it together.

First Haircut
Today Dylan got her first hair cut. I think it was a little harder on me than her. I finally broke down as we were having sooooo many tangles and hair combing battles. I debated on cutting it myself or taking Dylan to my gal but then found a salon that does toddlers - who can beat this cool little fire engine? That's my girl sitting in a fire engine playing with barbies! You can keep the barbies away from the girl but you can't keep the girl away from the barbies!
"McBride" face - ha! Oh but wait did you say glitter?
Oh my gosh - glitter! The magic fairy dust, super duper cool. Goes good with her little pink sparklies that our friend Akemi tied in Dylan's hair. That was the one demand D had about cutting her hair and she even told the hair dresser - "please don't cut my pink sparklies.".

Happy Easter Love Dylan Clark
Hello Kitty
Third Year Check Up
Before going to the doctor's the other day I asked Dylan if there was anything she wanted to talk to the doctor about ~ her response "yes, I want to ask the doctor when I can pull my teeth out and going pooh-pooh on the potty.". And sure enough she did! All grown up like. The other funny thing was after getting measured, the nurse saying "you're getting so grown up" and Dylan responding "Oh no my Auntie Beans told me I had to stop growing.". Which was also repeated to the doctor. ha!
