Whale Watching With Auntie Beans

So the other day Auntie Beans was watching Dylan while I was at work. Apparently in the morning they read a book about whales and Dylan said to Auntie Beans "Hey Auntie Beans, I have an idea, let's go ride whales.". So Auntie Beans being the good sport that she is got bundled up and they all headed to the beach - apparently Dylan had another idea about the beach and grabbed her bathing suit. When they got to the beach D says to Auntie Beans "Hey Auntie Beans, where are all the whales?". Poor thing she really had it in her mind she was going to go whale riding.

A Wintery Day At Alki

One of our new sitters, Olivia, took Dylan on an adventure to Alki. Here's a cute little picture they sent me at work.

A Beautiful Fall Day

Oh my gosh, we've been having some beautiful fall days here in Seattle! The other day we met our good friends Nan (Anne) and Kate for a walk at Alki. Nan brought Maggie a squirrel cookie, which was hilarious (you know I have this squirrel thing!). Dylan had a good laugh feeding it to her. We had a great walk and just lots of fun hanging out soaking up the sunshine! Dylan loved chasing the birds, picking up leaves, and playing on the beach with Kate. Glad Auntie Beans could enjoy some Seattle Sun to warm her cold bones. Only sorry it was such a short visit.
