Please No Pictures

"How's a girl suppose to get any sleep around here with all these cameras going off."

Today Asa had her first laugh.  I was tickling her chin and she started giggling up a storm.  Her other new tricks are just about to roll over and discovering her hands and feet.  I watched her studying her hands in amazement the other day and every time I change her diaper she reaches up and grabs her feet with a big ol' smile on her face - so proud of herself!

What A Sweet Bunch

What a sweet family!

What Big Sister's Are For

For Dylan's birthday our good friend Kristie, who is in massage school, gave her an anatomy coloring book.  The other morning Dylan brings the book over to Asa, sits down and says "Asa I'm going to teach you a thing or two about anatomy." and begins to read away.  As if that wasn't funny enough Asa actually seemed really interested.

G-ma Montana's Spring Visit

We had a lovely visit from G-ma Montana!  Her lap was constantly full between the girls.  Books, bottles, puzzles, games, diaper changes - oh we kept her very busy!  She even got to be a guest at Dylan's preschool one day - I'm not sure who loved it more Dylan or G-ma.

Sweet Portraits

Asa is starting to get so big and I realized that we were slacking in the newborn photo department - oh the poor second child!  So I borrowed a sweet soft blanket from a friend and we had a little impromptu photo session on the dinning room table.  Just as we were finishing up Dylan decided she wanted to join in so she climbed up on the table for a few sweet little smiles.

Dylan's 4th Birthday "Friends" Party

Oh you can only imagine (unless you have kids - then you know) how excited Dylan has been about her birthday!  The big 4 - uh, how did that happen?  This year we had her friends' party at a super fun place called Moon Paper Tent on Saint Patty's Day.  We got to pick a theme, the kiddo's dressed in costumes, had their sweet little faces painted, made magic wands, and acted out a story.  It was tons and tons and TONS of fun and some good laughs as well. It was fun to watch each kiddo come in and take it all in, some were shy at first and didn't want to dress up (Dylan included) but once they warmed up there was no stopping the creativity.

"Oh for me, you shouldn't have Alder"

Momma Traci and Alder

I loved how Gigi was a bit shy about dressing up but in a short period she transformed into Madonna (it was one of my favorite costumes of the day)

"Magic mirror tell me who is the fairy-ist of them all"

This is not Alder it's super pup, now get it straight would you

Happy 4th Cake Day Dylan!

Neve having a great time.  I had to put extra frosting on the cupcakes to get the worms to stick so each kid left with face paint, a chocolate goatee, and a huge smile.

I think it's safe to say from the last photo that the party was a hit!  Happy Cake Day sweet D - we love you!  And thank you to all her magical and wonderful friends for helping us celebrate Dylan turning 4 years old.
