Ms. Spunky Punky

"Hey Mom, looks that's me in that book." For Dylan's up coming birthday our dear friend Madison surprised Dylan with a book about Dylan and all the good times they had together over the past few years. It was a VERY touching sweet sweet book and Dylan thought it was soooo fun that she was actually in a book - as she LOVES her books. Thank you Madison - what a very touching and very thoughtful gift. We love it and we love you!!!!

Whale Watching With Auntie Beans

So the other day Auntie Beans was watching Dylan while I was at work. Apparently in the morning they read a book about whales and Dylan said to Auntie Beans "Hey Auntie Beans, I have an idea, let's go ride whales.". So Auntie Beans being the good sport that she is got bundled up and they all headed to the beach - apparently Dylan had another idea about the beach and grabbed her bathing suit. When they got to the beach D says to Auntie Beans "Hey Auntie Beans, where are all the whales?". Poor thing she really had it in her mind she was going to go whale riding.

G-Ma, G-Pa, And Kajlie Visit

Just found these on Matt's phone, they are from a few months back when G-Ma Montana, G-Pa Phil, and Phil's Granddaughter, Kajlie came for a visit. Oh boy did Dylan have fun or what! She had G-Pa Phil chasing her for hours outside. "Catch me Gandpa, Catch me".

The there was a few hours of hide-and-seek.

Then they both got hungry so Dylan fixed up some grub on her bbq. Hope you like rock potatoes G-pa Phil!

Then Grandma Montana stepped in to give G-pa Phil a breather. Dylan told G-ma to come on in her playhouse and have a seat.

The shared a cup of coffee.

Guess Dylan got the slug at the bottom (her dad likes to make it really strong).

They smelled flowers.

Oh and then G-pa Phil was back in action - "Push me Gandpa, Push me".

This went on for a few more hours.

Then it was story time and the crew all squeezed in on the couch with blanket (Dylan insisted on both) to enjoy a few stories together before going to bed. Not sure which of then passed out first as all their eyes seemed pretty heavy. Dylan just loved her company, you can just see her beaming up at her G-pa here.

It was a short (much too short if you ask me) and sweet visit. Dylan keeps asking when her G-ma and G-pa AND Kajlie are all coming back. Apparently, as she told me in the car the other day, next time they all come to visit they are going up in the Space Needle. Always great to see you Phil and Linda! And great to have you out Kajlie!

A Girl And Her Boots

Here's some funny shots from the other morning. I came out to find Dylan still in her pajamas quietly reading her books and yes, with her cowboy boots on. The girl loves her boots! This outfit was all Dylan's idea just for the record - and I totally loved it!

A little snack time after all that reading. Dylan has gotten quite good at bringing her little chairs into the kitchen and helping herself to things and I mean everything in little arms reach!

Two Second Rule for Dadda

Just look the other way Dad, do you really wanna know where that breakfast has been? Dylan sure does love making breakfast for her "dadda"!

It's Hot

Here's Dylan finishing her dog story and then deciding it's tea time. Listen carefully as you hear her pouring the tea then telling her dad it's 'hot'.

Reading is Fun

Here's a great little video Matt got of Dylan reading one of her favorite books. It's all about dogs and my favorite part (okay there are several) is when she says 'whoof' and her bangs blow up....

So many choices....

Oh, here's one.
