Dylan loves her pancakes so I've gotten a little creative with them to make her laugh - which of course she does and then asks for more.

Breakfast for Mom
Dylan was quite busy in the kitchen the other morning 'making mom breakfast' while I was feeding Asa. It was actually very tasty.

Making Breakfast
The other morning I walked into the kitchen to find Dylan at the counter - "Hey Mom, I'm making you breakfast."

Milk And Chocolate Chip Cookies
Last night Dylan and our lovely sitter, Olivia made chocolate chip cookies (along with nail painting, pizza eating, movie watching....). Olivia and Dylan make the best chocolate chip cookies! So good that Dylan decided to have milk and cookies for breakfast. Oh boy!

Roslyn Camping Trip
Here's a few photo's from our last camping trip to Roslyn. We got a late start Friday night and didn't make it to Roslyn until 8:30ish - which we found was pretty late to expect a camping spot at the camp grounds. So we went off-roading heading up a windy dirt road - which I wasn't so sure we'd make it back down with the trailer. But sure enough after a few very bumpy miles we found a great spot!
Here's a picture of breakfast the next morning.
Dylan got a hold of the camera for the next two pictures - "mom in a little coffee time action".
After Dylan's bike race on Saturday we met some new friends (they are on Matt's bike team) who were looking to camp out for the night so we invited them to camp out with us. Oh the kiddo's had a blast! Of course they loved hanging out in the trailer.
And having breakfast together the next morning.
After breakfast everyone went on a sweet little bike ride. Happy to say that Dylan rode her bike the whole way! Way to go d!

Brunch With Baby Brooks
A few weeks back our good friends Jeremy & Damiana came over for brunch and brought over their cutest little guy, Brooks. Oh was Dylan in heaven (okay, I'll admit it I was too)!!!! It was true love between the two as you can see from the pictures below. Snuggles, kisses, and a head lock hug - sorry Brooks. It was great to hang out and catch up! Damiana has been and apparently still is (although I don't know how she finds the time) one of our biggest blog followers. So we're giving a shout out to her - nice work momma, baby Brooks is a gem!!!

Breakfast is Served
Morning time is real fun around here these days. Dylan has been pretend cooking up a storm. Every morning we have a lovely well rounded fake breakfast which includes bacon, eggs (scrambled or sunnyside up), tea, and if you are really good and eat all your breakfast then you get more tea (with milk and sugar), ice cream, AND cookies. And Dylan is really serious in who gets what (sometimes she does like to sample her own goods before serving it to you or then there is the 3 second floor rule but heck it's free and very cute to watch). She even makes the sssshhh sound when pouring the tea.

Brunch With Alder
A few weeks back we had some friends over for brunch. Alder and Dylan are just a few month apart. They always have fun when getting together. We had a good visit with Traci and Paul while the kiddos played and played and played. It was a beautiful spring day so we got some garden time in. Thanks for the pictures Traci!

Morning Jammy Time

Do you really need to get out of your jammies if you're going back to bed in a couple of hours? Nah, no need...especially if you are gonna just have breakfast and play.
