Christmas 2011

Awe, Christmas morning!  Not sure who was more excited  - the dogs, Dylan, or Matt?  Dylan got Auntie Beans up, coffee was on and the unwrapping began.  Soon we couldn't see the floor.

Snack break.  And then it was time for breakfast - you know you can really work up an appetite opening presents.

After a late breakfast we got ready to go to Aunt Liz's folks house for dinner.

Dylan got this fun princess microphone and soon began entertaining everyone.

And then passed it on to her mom, who of course couldn't resist herself.

Auntie Beans - not so much.

But then Uncle Ben got a hold of it and I don't think we saw it again until we were leaving.

So Dylan started using a broom instead.  I don't honestly know this fascination the girl has with brooms but every time she seems one she gets so excited and starts sweeping.  At least we could be a little helpful in the clean up department.

And then the whooper of a present came.... new skies & googles from Jackson!  Oh man, super duper cool!

Awe yes, our tasty treat we made to bring over....

Dylan attached to Jackson's hip - as usual when together.

Mom and daughter dance.

Well I can honestly say we all slept good that evening!  It was a wonderful action packed day and evening!

Christmas Eve 2011

Merry Christmas 2011 from the Clarks.  Pretty exciting this year as we are actually in town for the Holidays!  And even better yet, so is Auntie Beans.

Oh it was a great time decorating the tree with a little one.  Our tree has been decorated, redecorated, decorated again, and redecorated.... and wait.... decorated again it's looking like.

Christmas Eve Auntie Beans and Poppy (her dog) came over (bags packed) for the festivities for the next few days.  Tonight started with a lovely family dinner - with Dylan saying that she was thankful for her 'ginnie' - yes, true story!  And we were all in tears of laughter.

Awe sisters!  They are the best - at least mine is!  A toast to a new year!

After our bellies were full we all loaded in the car and headed to Candy Cane Lane in the U-district - an ol' time McBride family favorite thing to see.  Although it didn't seem to Jill and I as spectacular as when we were kids Dylan was in seventh heaven with all the lights and of course, people.

After all the lights we stopped for a few family portraits - this one by Dylan.

Then it was home for a sweet treat and to open a present.  Dylan chose a big box from Auntie Doris and Uncle Cupcake.

"Awe sweet little sleepy dog sleeping bag set!  This is awesome!!!  May I sleep in it tonight?  Please Mom?"

Well guess it's time for bed - Santa's on his way!  Sweet dreams d, can't wait to see your sweet little excited face in the morning!
