The New Playhouse

Someone's got a new playhouse!!!!! And someone's super excited about it. Don't worry I let Dylan play in it sometimes ;)

Our friend Nan was at Costco a few months back and texted me pictures of this super cute playhouse. It took a few weeks before Dylan and I could get down there to check it out - turns out we were just in time as the one on display was the last one in stock. Luckily I still have connections at Costco so I asked if they ever sell their displays - score! Not only did I get it reduced a hundred bucks (it was already really reasonably priced), I sweet talked the guys into disassembling it so I could get it in the car. I got it home and Matt put it together while Dylan was napping - when she got up Oh My Gosh!!!! You could only imagine the yells and screams of delight. I was off to prep for a shoot but apparently Matt and d played in the playhouse for the next 3 hours! Unheard of in the world of a 2 year old.

This past weekend Matt built a platform and little patio for Miss d's playhouse - he did a great job! Our neighbors cleaned out their daughter's playhouse and gave Dylan tons of little dishes, pots, pans, and play veggies, along with a little table and chair set. There was some major fung shui going on in the little playhouse - chairs in and out until she got it just right. Now Dylan is cooking, cleaning, and hosting up a storm in her little playhouse!

Ala Blue C Sushi

The other morning Dylan woke up and I asked 'what would you like for breakfast?' her response 'sushi'! I had to laugh. We didn't make it for breakfast, as I'm not sure there is a sushi brunch option - maybe? But we did hit it up for dinner. Dylan loved picking out her own sushi. She also has gotten pretty darn good with a pair of chopsticks - even attempted to eat her dessert with them - that started moving to slow so she switched to a spoon mighty quick.

BFF's Together Again

Here's Dylan, Miles & Gia ~ the trio's back together! It's been a while but it was just like old times. Dylan loves Miles, Gia, and Momma G!

Bike To Work Day

Dylan rode to work with Dad the other day - she LOVED it!

Pancakes With Paul

Meet Paul Murphy, Madison's dad. This is Dylan's new obsession these days ~ 'Paul, Paul, Paul, where's Paul? Paul's girl'. Here's a picture of Dylan and Paul sharing some pancakes - uh, need I say more after seeing her smile? Cute!

The Ballard Norwegian Parade

A few weeks ago our good friends, Madison & Kelli Murphy, took Dylan to the Norwegian Parade in Ballard. Great times were had by all! Friends, flags, drums, dancing, police motorcycles, horses, hats, and lollipops - someone had a grand time, and slept very good that night I might add. Thanks Kelli & Madison!!!!!

Here's a couple of fun video's of the event.

Many Outfits

Apparently Dylan was having one of those "what to wear" days - you know we all have them. Madison sent these pictures to me while I was working - cracked me up!

Mittens In Summer?

Funny story. I was out of town. Matt was hosting his cousin Kay and her husband, Jim for dinner. There was a bit of a chill in the air - enough that Matt had a sweatshirt on. Dylan was running around topless loving her new 'big girl' swing. Matt asks her if she wanted a sweater? 'no', a long sleeve shirt? 'no', a hat? 'no', mittens? 'yah'. And that is the makings of this photo! ha!!

Vanilla-Fro

A Trip To Ashland

I was just down in Ashland, Or for 3 1/2 weeks working. I always love going down there, such a great town. I flew down every Sunday afternoon, work for the week, and then come back late Friday night - one weekend Matt decided to bring the family to me. He was very brave driving the 8 hours each way with a toddler by himself but then again she is a fabulous traveler.

We had a great weekend together that went by way too fast. Here's Dylan enjoying some local music and treats.

Picnic back at the hotel.

Then off to the park with Nan (who was down working as well).

Bedtime.

One the way home there were a few pit stops - here's some pictures at a fun park.

And then a long nap! Thanks for coming down guys!!!!! I loved having you!
