Children's Museum With Sophie And Bryan

Last week we met our good friends Sophie and Bryan at the Children's Museum.  The kiddo's had a blast!

Afterwards we hit the food court and found a new cute very kid friendly restaurant I've been wanting to check out called Bean Sprout.  They do super fun food like this flower.  Dylan had a spider sandwich and Bryan had a peanut butter piano sandwich.  Lots of laughs and fun!

G-ma Montana And The Children's Museum

What a fun day we had at the Children's Museum showing G-ma Montana all around. First was the playdough.

Then painting. Dylan made her first painting!

Then we went over to the International living section. Dylan was right at home in the kitchen.

Sushi soup - oh yum - not!

Then we were off to the big climbing tree to explore bugs, trees, the camping tent & slide...

Then we ran through the reading room - no time for books today, there is too much to do.

Here's G-ma getting Dylan ready to go put out some fires.

All ready to go.

Then a visit to the tool department. Of course we had to get in full costume to play in this department.
G-ma teaching Dylan all about nuts and bolts.

Well then we got hungry to we went to the taco making exhibit for some fake tacos.

After our fake taco lunch we went grocery shopping. Dylan loves this exhibit most of all (and I think her mom does as well).

Dylan loves the bread section. I think especially just being in Paris.

She loaded up her cart with all kinds of breads and pastries - all fake thank goodness!

Carts all full now it's time to check out - hope you brought your wallet Dylan.

Children's Museum With Miles And Gia

Here's a few photo's from our adventure to the Children's Museum with our BFF's, Miles and Gia. The kids had lots of fun running around and exploring. Here they are driving to their sailboat.

Captain Gia runs a tight ship!

Miles and D are just kicking back and enjoying the open seas.

We discovered a whole section of the museum that we hadn't been to before - the grocery store, hardware store, AND the metro bus. Can't believe it was there this whole time and we've never seen it before. Well we all know how Dylan loves food so to have a whole grocery store including shopping carts, cashier station, and play food all to herself was out of this world F.U.N.!!! Here's a shot of Dylan and Miles behind the bakery counter trying out some of the pretend goodies.

After shopping we moved on to the building department. Here's Dylan getting into costume. Move over Bob the Builder we have a new tool time gal in town.

"This bus is in need of some repairs, and I've got just the tools to fix it."

Able to fix a metro bus with just one tool (and she figured out the right tool to use all on her own, guess she's been paying attention to her dad out in the garage).

Looks like Metro is up and running again - thanks Dylan!

Here's Miles and Gia working really hard on a project.

After all that playing it was time for some real grub. Thanks Miles, Gia, and Shannon for a super fun morning!
