Fall is Here

These just in. Last weekend I wanted to do some work out in the yard so I dragged D's exersaucer outside - she loved it and I got some work done. Matt was testing out a new camera and got these great shots of D's fall fashion. So nice to have a photographer in the family!

Oh What to Read?

So many choices....

Oh, here's one.

Me and My Sockmonkeys

Here, There, And On The Verge Of Everywhere....

Our girl is getting very mobile these days. Not crawling yet but being very creative in getting around to what she wants. She's spotting things and beam~linin' for them and like most kids is going straight for everything you don't want her to get into. Dylan's getting up on all fours but hasn't figured out the crawling thing yet - I say "yet" 'cause it's going to be any day that the hatches will have to be buttoned down. No more leaving her quietly to play on the floor while you grab a cup of joe in the kitchen, 'cause if you do lil missy is gone. Here's a day in the life of Dylan....

Playing on her blanket with a few toys.

"What's that?"

"Hi mom."

"Oh just sitting here playing with Sophie the giraffe."

"Okay now I'm going to roll over."

"Now I'm under the chair... oh wait newspaper..."

"Coolest shoes my dad bought me"

"Kicking off the coolest shoes my dad bought me."

"Tasting the coolest shoes my dad bought me."

"Oh yum, mom's shoes."

"What's that?"

"Now I'm going to roll over here and check out things."

"Hummmm, what's in here?"

"Hello Santa? Are you up there?"

"And back to the newspapers, maybe I'll read the sports page."

All of this in 20 minutes time. Oh boy!

"Hey You, Feed Me ~ Please"

"Hey you, you there, ya you feed me.... pretty please."

"Otherwise Piglet here gets it. Just Kidding."

Dear Santa

dear santa,

hello my name is dylan ray clark. i wanted to introduce myself as this will be our first of many christmases together. i thought since you are starting to get busy with the up coming season i'd get my special gift request in early. this year, for my first christmas, i found this really super duper coolest ever 'radio flyer retro rocket' and fell in love with it. oh boy it sure would be fun to place my cute little tushie aboard and ride up to the stars whiles making all kinds of fun rocket noises. it would be hours of entertainment. i also would love a bike but my dad is still researching that one, so i will have to get back to you on it. oh i almost forgot to mention, my mom makes really good cookies (i heard you like them). thanks santa i really look forward to working with you over the next several years. hello to all the reindeer (i'm still learning all their names) and the misses.

love dylan ray clark

PS: here's a picture for the little worker elves. pretty cool huh?

Stylin'

Miss D stylin' it up with some fall gear from her Auntie Jill.

Seventh Heaven

Today I put D on the floor to play with a few toys. She soon discovered the whole basket, proceeded in dumping it over, and one by one grabbed toys out of it (of course tasting each one). Our little monkey is getting so smart. She was in seventh heaven for a good hour.

"Hey look what I did"

Don't Sneeze With A Mouthful Of Rice Cereal

Let this be a lesson to all... Don't sneeze with a mouthful of rice cereal.

But then again it is pretty funny!

Someone's Getting Ready For Halloween

Halloween pajamas, check, pumpkin with bandana, check.... looks like someone's just about ready to do some tricker treating.

And we'd like to send out a special thanks to the Sabin family for the super cool 'pea catcher' hook on high chair. Dylan loves swinging her feet and getting the bottom rocking and she feels like a big girl sitting at the kitchen table with us. Thanks guys!

Dylan and Maggs

Dylan's playing on her blanket and Maggie's right there (also on the blanket if you haven't noticed).

Cowgirl D

Hold your horses 'cause if this photo doesn't crack you up then you need your head examined. Back in September we took a family trip to Montana. We stopped by Helmville to go to a rodeo, of course D fit right in. Matt shot this with old fashion film (anyone remember that?), we just got the prints back yesterday and are still laughing! You're too cute D.

Breakfast With Dad

This morning's first bowl of blueberries turned into more of an art project than breakfast. We think some got into Dylan's belly but as you can see a whole lot ended up on her face. The lovely meal ended in a bath.

G-ma Montana's Baby Rattle

Dylan loves this little vintage baby rattle - it was G-ma Montana's when she was a little girl.

Uncle Shawn's New Pad

Last weekend we went over to check out Uncle Shawn's new pad and to celebrate G-ma McBride's b-day. We watched some football, played on the floor, ate some pizza and baby rice mum mum crackers... good times! Thanks Uncle Shawn and Kelly - your new place is great. And thanks for the pictures Kelly.

A Day Under Sea

Yesterday Dylan and I went to the Aquarium with Aunt Linda and Cousin Lydia. The girls had a great time looking at all kinds of fish, sea life, and even a couple of waving divers. Here's Dylan and Diver Jane.
