Book time.
Dylan came up with a great adventure for us one day.  She suggested taking the Water Taxi from West Seattle to downtown and the riding the Ferris Wheel.  She showed us the way - including finding the right dock, getting tickets and where to sit on the boat!  She was a true Julie McCoy.

After the Ferris Wheel we went into the Arcade for a little ride on the carousel.

Then we headed to Pike Place Market.  Dylan stopped this awesome balloon artist - he can make over 250 animals!  Dylan choose a mermaid and sure enough he made one - totally made her day.

It was a quick but fabulous visit - so happy to have Uncle C and Auntie D out!  Just hope we didn't exhaust them too much!  Every morning Dylan would wake up and announce she was going downstairs to wake them up.  She LOVED having her Uncle and Auntie out and is already planning their next visit!

Christmas Eve 2011

Merry Christmas 2011 from the Clarks.  Pretty exciting this year as we are actually in town for the Holidays!  And even better yet, so is Auntie Beans.

Oh it was a great time decorating the tree with a little one.  Our tree has been decorated, redecorated, decorated again, and redecorated.... and wait.... decorated again it's looking like.

Christmas Eve Auntie Beans and Poppy (her dog) came over (bags packed) for the festivities for the next few days.  Tonight started with a lovely family dinner - with Dylan saying that she was thankful for her 'ginnie' - yes, true story!  And we were all in tears of laughter.

Awe sisters!  They are the best - at least mine is!  A toast to a new year!

After our bellies were full we all loaded in the car and headed to Candy Cane Lane in the U-district - an ol' time McBride family favorite thing to see.  Although it didn't seem to Jill and I as spectacular as when we were kids Dylan was in seventh heaven with all the lights and of course, people.

After all the lights we stopped for a few family portraits - this one by Dylan.

Then it was home for a sweet treat and to open a present.  Dylan chose a big box from Auntie Doris and Uncle Cupcake.

"Awe sweet little sleepy dog sleeping bag set!  This is awesome!!!  May I sleep in it tonight?  Please Mom?"

Well guess it's time for bed - Santa's on his way!  Sweet dreams d, can't wait to see your sweet little excited face in the morning!
