If Dylan's wondering where all her underwear is please tell her they all went to the moon and back this afternoon.  Uh, not my idea FYI.

Too Smart For Her Own Good

The other day Dylan and I were in the kitchen playing. Next thing I knew she was standing right beside me opening up the cupboard under the sink - little smarty pants. Now, as I write this, I'm watching Matt install baby locks. Hopefully this will at least slow Lil miss d down.

Fun With Dad

Dylan's favorite thing (okay besides her bah, bah) is her dad. Oh the smile that comes across her face when he walks in the room ~ it's very sweet. When Matt gets home from work, he, D, and Maggie have big time wrestling time ~ AND D just loves it! So now when she sees her Dad walk in the door she looks at him and screams with excitement for the next match. She loves to be tossed in the air ~ the higher the better. She also learned a new trick, she'll put her head in your lap which means she wants to be flipped upside down ~ just as you get done her head is right back down on your lap for another go. Here's a few cute pictures of Dylan and Dad being goofy.

Happy 6 Months of Life Dylan!

Today is Lil d's 6th month b-day. She's showing off all kinds of tricks these days - she can roll over (several times in a row even), just about sitting up on her own, eating all kinds of foods, cracking up a whole grocery store of people, and can hold a whole conversation with you (of coarse you haven't a clue as to what's she's saying but I not so sure she knows that). She loves being outside, discovering new things, listening to music, her dog maggie, sucking her toes, and laughing. Boy, does she love to laugh - she cracks us up everyday!!!! Thanks for being you d - happy 6 months of life little one!!!!

For a little 6th month celebration we started our day off with a bowl of puree peas - yum! Then we took a long walk stopping by the grocery store and library, where Dylan proceeded in cracking people up - she was grinning from ear to ear for anyone who crossed her path. Of course I can't see a thing as we just moved up to a big girl stroller where she now faces outward. I just see people stopping in their tracks and come over to smile back at D. It's so great to see Dylan bring such smiles to people's faces - warms my heart.

On our way home Dylan passed out in her stroller, drool running down her check - guess it's exhausting being such a little clown. When we got home we played for a while until Matt came home. Then we all went down to the little neighborhood park to show dad how Dylan can swing like a big girl. Of course dad brought his camera and got some great shots!

When we got home it was bath, bottle, and bed - it couldn't come soon enough as Lil' d was exhausted from a big day!

We love you D!

While Gone D Learns a Few Tricks

While in Philly Dylan learned a few new tricks, like picking up her head, rolling over, sucking her fingers, and busting out of her swaddle.

I just have to say that she's my hero - after all that we went through she was a real champ!  Even before the accident she was an angel and all during not one peep, she just hung in with everything that was thrown her direction!  It was so hard to be away from her for 6 days but I knew she was in the best of hands!
