Saying Goodbye To Olivia

We had to say goodbye to our good friend Olivia as she left to go to Spokane for school.  She will be missed DEARLY!  Who's going to paint D's nails now?  On their final day together Olivia took Dylan to the Rainforest Cafe - oh what fun, Olivia is great at thinking of fun adventures!  AND very brave taking Dylan to a restaurant - nice job Olivia!  It sounded like the girls had a great time.  Dylan ordered popcorn shrimp and colored her menu and was very well behaved.

On Olivia's first interview, I remember her walking through the door and thinking she seemed very sweet.  Dylan instantly took to her!  D then basically took over the interview, saying 'excuse me mom', and walking Olivia into her room and asking her to read to her.  Olivia was a great sport and did all that Dylan asked.  I not sure if I even got in one question but based on the effect she had on Dylan and the five books she read she was hired!  After that there was a song and dance that came up every time Olivia was coming over.  The girls were fast friends.  Oh and the funny thing about Olivia that always made Dylan laugh was that she always had two different color socks on so we started guessing before she'd come over what color they were going to be - one day Olivia showed up with flip flops on and Dylan thought that was hilarious!

Awe, it was really sad to say goodbye, even I got choked up.  We will miss you Olivia!  Not only have you been an awesome babysitter but a fabulous friend!  Good luck with school and come back SOON!
